It requires a charismatic religious leader to keep a torch of hope burning despite decades of difficulties and harshness. Bishop Munib Younan has continuously denounced victimization, refused exclusivism when calling for unity, justice and equality for all. By doing this, he reminds us never to underestimate the power of hope.
